Am I the Indian You had in Mind?: An Indigenous Perspective on Survivance, Resiliency, Reciprocity and Love - An exploration of the complexity of Indigenous identity from a strength-based, cultural perspective. Themes of survivance, resiliency, reciprocity, and love frame this presentation, encouraging educators to challenge deficit perceptions of Indigenous students while honoring their multiple ways of knowing and being.
